Art Trail – Local and
regional artists will display their works in local shop windows.
A wonderful and colourful event that brings life to the streets of Killaloe
& Ballina. A separate programme is available in all participating
shops.

Costume & Prop Making Workshops

Preparations for this year’s festival parade get underway with
costume & prop making workshops. The parade this year celebrates
‘Carnival’ & promises to be colourful & loud!
Samba Carnival Workshops
- Wednesday 1st & Friday 3rd July 5-6pm
Ballina Parish Hall
Boris Hunka from Music of the
Glen, will run fun workshops teaching some basic samba rhythms!
Workshops open to children of all ages
but we ask that younger children (u8) are accompanied.

Powerboat Racing – On the Shannon – Sat 4th & Sun 5th July
Midwest Powerboat Club will run Round 4 of the
National Powerboat Championship from 10:30am to 5:00pm on both days
with four different class of boats being raced at this event: F2 Catamaran,
F4 Catamaran, P 750 inflatable ribs, S 850 Monohull. Check
